Tenant

At HAP Lettings we want our tenants to be happy. We offer quality properties and give quality service with NO FEES.

If you have seen a property you are interested in, contact us to arrange a viewing as soon as possible.  Our application process can be done online and is quick and simple to do. If you do not have computer access come and see us in the office and we are happy to complete this on your behalf.  Applications are quickly approved and we will sign the agreement with you at a convenient time.

All tenant deposits are lodged with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, this will protect your money until you move out of the property and then will be released once both parties agree.

Once you have moved into your new property, rent payments can be made easily by standing order.  We shall provide tenant information pack which will assist with suitable contact numbers.  We are contactable if any maintenance items require attention and we can arrange contractors to attend.  If you have locked yourself out, you can call us during office hours to collect the keys and save yourself the cost of a locksmith.

Tenants Responsibilities:

  • Tenants are responsible for Council Tax to Glasgow City Council, electricity and gas charges, tv license, internet and phone service.
  • Tenants are expected the return the property is the same condition when they vacate, allowing for ‘fair wear and tear’.
  • Tenants should report any maintenance items, some maintenance items such as leaks etc can slowly damage the property.
