We will contact the tenant two months before the expiration of the current tenancy agreement. Reason for this is to establish their intentions in regards to extending the lease.
The tenant may decide to extend for a further term such as six to twelve months; or to stay on a periodic schedule such as one month segments, or otherwise leave the property at the end of the present contract. If the tenant does decide to remain at the property for a further term, we will prepare and review the agreement on your behalf for the tenant to sign.
The tenant may also wish to remain at the property on a monthly basis. Please note that with this arrangement, the notice period is two months for possession for the landlord and one month from the tenant.
